Delay in sending July 2021 issue of Not So Modern Drummer

The July 2021 issue of Not So Modern Drummer has been delayed for a few days. We normally send it via email on the last day of each month but ran into a last minute issue with our subscriber email list. It needs to be cleaned to be in compliance with spam regulations, or else be barred from sending bulk email. This usually takes 24 to 48 hours so look for it within the first week of August. Removing rust from a 1954-55 Slingerland Radio King set

I recently acquired this 1948 Radio King set from someone who rescued it from a neighbor who was going to “throw it out”. It’s in pretty darn good shape. I’ll update my clean up and restoration of this kit as I go along. The first thing I want to tell you about is a great new rust remover that works better than any other substance that I’ve used, and I’ve used all of them; Naval jelly, coca cola, vinegar, ketchup - all sorts of household and commercial products.
