Bruce Barber was born on an Air Force Base, in upstate New York, to an Australian father and American mother.

At the tender age of 9, his family moved to Australia, where he spent the next three decades growing up.

He is a man of many talents, a chef, who has worked for the likes of Barbra Streisand, a video editor and a drummer who has toured the U.K. and played drums for the late Bo Diddley.

In 1993, Bruce returned to America, where he works as a chef in Los Angeles. He has two children and three grandchildren and is still active in the drumming community.
